anchors away!

it's hard to believe that she's old enough, but sierra graduated this weekend, so today we celebrated with a party at mom & dad's.  it was a celebration of her accomplishments and also a send-off to TU {in the fall}.
as it wouldn't be a leach party without it, there was plenty of great food and laughter among friends and family.  our family & extended some of her friends from work and church, her boyfriend dakota, her godmother and godsister, all came to celebrate the day with her.  

 

congratulations, sierra!  we're so proud of you and know you will do great at TU.  here's to your next big adventure.

mother's day.

today we spent mother's day at the cheesecake factory in tulsa.  it was our first mother's day with parker, mom's 28th mother's day, and my fourth mother's day with conor.  after a nice brunch out on the patio, we headed back to our house to visit and hang out before everyone had to head back to muskogee. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

amelia's 30th birthday bash in texas.

this year, amelia turned 30, so we headed down to the great state of texas this past weekend to meet up with grace and celebrate in style.

amelia had never been to san antonio, so we spent an afternoon on the river and then a night out in austin. 
i didn't snap a lot of shots over the weekend, but wish my friend of more than 18 years all the best in her fun & flirty thirties.

travis's {actual} birthday.

oh, we're not done yet.  you thought a camping party would be birthday enough for travis?  heck no!  we had to do his birthday on the 23rd, but i wanted his actual day to be special too, so krystal, mike, and i surprised him with dinner and cupcakes at go west in sapulpa. 

none of us had ever been before, but it had come well-recommended and was supposed to be a great steak place.  mike and krystal came to our house and then rode over with us.  we got a little turned around (took a right when we should have taken a left), and mike was afraid we were going to be in a scene out of deliverance. it started making him ill.

and as it turns out, mike wasn't carsick or ill over deliverance -- he was actually coming down with the flu!  half way through the meal he had to go outside.  krystal let us know today that he's actually very sick.  crazy how things just sneak up on us like that. -- happy birthday, travis!  i can't wait to celebrate many, many more with you!
