travis is getting sicker.

After going to the ER on Thursday and being sent home, we stopped by the pharmacy to try a few more other over-the-counter recommendations.  Everyone swore by Fleet, but we had already tried that.  The ER nurse recommended magnesium nitrate. 

We got home and Travis took the recommended dosage.  He ended up having even worse stomach cramps and felt worse than he started.  He spent the weekend in bed running a fever and staying close to the bathroom.  I tried to convince him to let me take him to the ER since his fever was staying close to 103 and 104, but he was so fed up with them, especially since they hadn’t done anything for him on Thursday after we left work to get in to be seen.  He would break his fever and then start running it again. 

Now he can hardly get in and out of bed on his own or even roll from his side to his back without my help.  He's lost 17 pounds over the weekend.

I hate seeing him like this.  

Please pray for direction for us.  There is something very wrong.  Travis has an appointment to see a gastroenterologist in Bartlesville next week, but I'm not sure we can wait that long -- but the hospital is also not working out well for us either.
